Vision Statement
The vision of the Tribal Children’s Advisory Committee is for every Indian child in tribal or state court to have an advocate who takes into account the child’s unique cultural background and political status.

Purpose of the Committee
The Tribal Children’s Advisory Committee reviews and consults with National CASA on the development of the Tribal Court CASA Project. The committee examines a range of policy issues concerning the methods of operation of Tribal Court CASA programs and the provision of training and technical assistance services to support them. The committee acts in an advisory capacity to National CASA to identify significant policy issues, collect information and resources, consider options and make recommendations when appropriate.
