AAAC Mission |
|
The
Mission of the National CASA Association African American Advisory
Committee is to ensure full African American participation throughout
the CASA/GAL network. |
|
|
|
The Purpose of the AAAC |
|
The
committee will act in an advisory capacity to National CASA
Association Board of Directors and staff with respect to policy issues, identifying funders for
targeted projects, collecting information and resources, volunteer
recruitment, staff recruitment and hiring, staff and volunteer retention and training as they relate
to African American staff and volunteers. The advisory committee
structure will facilitate the process of addressing and responding to
issues in a systemic way as they pertain to CASA nationally. |
