New Conference Scholarship Program
Scholarship Program Overview: The National CASA
Association offered a scholarship program to provide
financial assistance for staff, volunteers and former foster
youth planning to attend the 2008 annual conference. This
new program was developed by National CASA in response to
network requests.
Scholarships cover the cost of conference registration.
A total of 44 scholarships were awarded.
Scholarship Eligibility:

Former foster youth.
Youth must be under 25 years old at the time of application.
(Five scholarships will be awarded.)

Active CASA/GAL
volunteers. Volunteer advocates cannot also be paid CASA/GAL
staff members. (Twenty-four scholarships will be awarded.)

CASA/GAL staff members.
(Fifteen scholarships will be awarded.)
