CASA Meets Congress

June 10, 2008
Share the CASA Message with Our Nation’s Leaders

On Tuesday, June 10, CASA and GAL volunteers, program staff, judges, child advocates and other professionals are invited to bring the CASA message to our elected officials. CASA Meets Congress is a special opportunity to meet members of Congress and their legislative staff and acquaint them with the work of CASA programs on behalf of abused and neglected children.

Individuals participating in CASA Meets Congress will attend a legislative briefing and orientation followed by state caucus meetings. Lunch and transportation to Capitol Hill are provided. Afternoon congressional appointments are followed by a reception on Capitol Hill.

CASA Meets Congress is an optional activity, and a nominal fee is charged to help subsidize costs. If you wish to participate, please register.
